About me

Everyone is an artist when they are young. I began working with art an early age, continued through school, and when I became a paraplegic at 17, it helped me channel and deal with my emotions. My art represents my struggles and triumphs as I grew.

Creative process

Most times I just get this urge to paint, I need to paint. I pick a color that speaks to me in that moment, and let the image come through on it's own. Other times, I do see something that sparks my interest and it goes from there. My rabbit series came from watching the rabbits in our yard.

My Inspiration

I truly wish people see something in my art that speaks to them, they can identify with. Much of my art came from a dark time in my life, and I hope that it resinates with someone in that same dark space, it helps them see they are not alone in their emotions, that other people have experenced the same thing.
